About & methodology
Reverse Split Radar is an automated, independent tracker of reverse stock splits announced in SEC filings.
Sources
- SEC EDGAR full-text search: Forms 8-K and 6-K (and their press-release exhibits) mentioning a reverse stock split, reverse share split or share consolidation, from the last 90 days.
- Nasdaq's public noncompliant company list (minimum bid price deficiencies) for the watchlist.
- Press-release RSS feeds, used as leads only.
How fields are extracted
- Ratio: "1-for-N" / "one-for-N" patterns next to reverse-split wording. If a filing mentions several ratios (for example an approved range), it is flagged with "?".
- Effective date: a date near "split-adjusted basis", "market open" or "effective" wording, within a window around the filing date.
- Fractional policy: shown only when the filing explicitly says rounded up, cash in lieu or rounded down. Conflicting or discretionary language is Unverified, and no statement means Not stated. We never infer a policy.
- Filings that only ask shareholders to authorize a range of ratios are skipped until a ratio is set. Meeting notices that name a ratio are shown as "pending vote".
